Carol & Suzana have been adopted.

(This was the first siting of the stray family.)

Carol and Suzana are 4-months old and only about 10 lbs. They'll grow to be around 25 lbs so they'll stay pretty small, the size of the corgi or beagle. We're not sure what breed they are but the vet seemed to think italian greyhound mix, though others have suggested basenji, small black lab, rat terrier, schipperke, manchester terrier, among others, so who really knows?

Their entire family was found as strays. Their 2 brothers were hit and killed by a speeding truck before they could be rescued. Their father disappeared before the rescue team arrived, but their mother was recently adopted. Now it's their turn.

These puppies are spayed, current on shots, and microchipped. They get along with everyone, including small children, other dogs, even those much bigger than them, and cats. They're both well-behaved, attentive and playful, tolerant and so far have not exhibited any destructive behavior. They do NOT have the hyperness or nippyness common in most young puppies. More reserved than her sister, Carol is watchful and attentive. Suzana is silly and playful, and more daring and outgoing than her sister. We realize that black dogs aren't as popular, but once you meet Suzana & Carol and see just how sweet and well-behaved they are, you won't help but to fall in love with them.
